Hunter gets a helping hand
Hunter, now aged 14 has been caring for his mother since he was 6 years old. His mother has Bi Polar and suffers from anxiety. His caring role includes the duties of all household chores – cooking, doing the dishes, shopping and also organising and paying the bills.
He has frequently missed out on schooling because of his caring responsibilities. The family is struggling financially as his mother is on a disability pension and she was saddened greatly this year when she was unable to buy Hunter a birthday present.
Thanks for Caring presented Hunter with a HP notebook to help him with his studies and hopefully assist in him reach- ing his full potential as a student.
